Bronx Botanical Garden & Arthur Avenue (Little Italy) - October 2020

Living in NYC is always stressful but more so now during a pandemic. The best way to recharge and heal from urban life is to immerse oneself in the beauty of nature. The Bronx Botanical Garden provides that in a quick but effective retreat. Take a hike through the Forest and Waterfall trails and soak in the greenery. The Autumn foliage shift from green to red, orange and yellow hues is breathtaking. If you live in Manhattan; it's a 20 minute train ride on the Metro North from Grand Central terminal to the Bronx Botanical Gardens. We visited on Sunday (which is off peak time ) and it cost us $29 round trip for two people. You can buy tickets @nybg Basic Grounds Pass is $ 15 per person for the day. Afterwards, we walked 15 minutes to Arthur Avenue (Little Italy) and enjoyed a pizza dinner at Zero Ottono Nove. Enjoy my You Tube video of our Sunday retreat to the Bronx Botanical Gardens and Arthur Avenue.
